On Saturday the 7th October 2006 Sensei Martin Wilson 5th Dan held a self-defence and Kumite course at his Sheffield dojo.  This seminar was attended by members of Providence karate club and KIBBS Leeds students. Unfortunately due to other events other members of karate International where unable to attend and apologies where received.

Sensei Wilson put everyone through a hard warm up then commenced with some basic Kumite techniques.  After about an hour of Kumite training sensei Wilson then got on to the "good stuff". He taught several control and restraint techniques and some escape routines. The day was ended with a tag team Kumite contest.

All those that attended enjoyed the day and lots of good karate was learnt and some new friends where made.
