Essential First Aid Programmes
If an accident happened in your dojo, would you know what to do?
The St Johns Ambulance (2000) say that by operating a business you have an obligation under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and Approved Code of Practice (ACOP L74) to make adequate and appropriate First Aid Provision for your workforce.
To ensure this it is strongly recommended that someone is able to undertake First Aid duties at all times when people are at work. That means anytime your dojo has people in it.
Therefore it is essential for you to ensure that appropriate First Aid cover is available to all those under your charge (students and staff).
As part of our policy to promote safe, inclusive and productive teaching environments we offer a suite of programmes that focus on enabling you to develop these essential skills.
